I grow every time I sit down to create. I am amazed at how many ways there are to say something. I will be forever exploring those ways.
I started illustrating stories at a young age. While in college studying Philosophy II apprenticed at a figurative art studio. I started a family and went on to teach drawing, painting, cartooning, mixed media, and art history in a children’s studio. My husband and I followed a desire to live a more sustainable active lifestyle and found our way to Oregon. Throughout this time I have come face to face with many challenges, both mental and physical, and art has grounded me and cultivated healing and renewal. I listen and create art along side gardening, hiking, swimming, cooking special diets, parenting neurodivergent kids, cuddling my dog, and reading as many books as I can. You can check out my gallery to see samples of my work.
